Where: Nixon County Park Nature Center, 5922 Nixon Dr, York PA 17403

For wildlife rehabilitators, our busiest time of year is “baby season.” Baby season begins when wild animals begin to have their first litters of offspring in late February and early March and continues through October. During this time we receive large influxes of orphaned animals, and we need your help to prepare for them. Visit our Born to Be Wild Baby Shower to help raise awareness about wild babies and to help raise funds for 2024’s baby season!

Join us for an afternoon of wildlife-themed activities including:

  • Informational programs about wild babies

  • Symbolic species adoptions

  • A silent basket auction

  • Create your own enrichment item

  • Wild baby name matching

  • A bird walk with the York Audubon Society

  • Photos with our ambassadors

  • And more!

Entry is FREE. Donations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you to our sponsors!
