Volunteer at the Wildlife Center
Current Volunteers
Prospective Volunteers and Interns
Thank you for your interest in our wildlife center volunteer or internship opportunities. Volunteers are critical in achieving our mission. Volunteer positions are not guaranteed and change based on the current needs of the wildlife center.
Internships are available with the wildlife center for any individual interested in wildlife rehabilitation, animal behavior, zoology, conservation biology, veterinary medicine, animal rescue, animal husbandry, environmental education and non-profit operations. You do not need to be in an academic program to qualify for an internship position. Internship positions are an excellent opportunity for college students, recent graduates and local individuals interested in becoming a wildlife rehabilitator or being more involved with the work at the wildlife center. Most internships and all volunteer positions are unpaid, and we are not able to provide housing. College students and recent graduates may also be eligible for a paid seasonal assistant position (apply using the Level 2 internship applications).
We welcome partnerships with local professionals such as veterinarians, accountants, lawyers, educators, contractors, and more. Please contact us to inquire about volunteering your time and skilled services.
