West Shore Wildlife Center Growing Home Campaign
Help keep wildlife rehabilitation in South Central PA
2024 Campaign Update
In 2019, West Shore Wildlife Center opened its doors and became the only wildlife rehabilitation center located in York County, PA. After four years of growth beyond our wildest expectations, we outgrew our residential location and could not continue operations at that location after December 31, 2023, due to township zoning laws.
With just a few weeks left before our township’s deadline, our Growing Home Campaign took a leap forward– Thanks to the amazing support we have received from our community, we have secured a new home!
Our new property is still located in York County, and we will be moving to the eastern part of Dover, PA– just two miles from Gifford Pinchot State Park. Our new address will remain private until our operations have fully moved to the new location, and all patient admissions will still be by appointment only. The property features over 3.5 acres of usable cleared land and stunning natural habitat.
